Giardino Tropical is a hit or miss. Depending on the night you can have a great experience, or just sit there with an empty glass all night. The pizza is good, not as good as Freddy’s, but good. I like some of their pastas, Carbonara is especially good. The atmosphere is nice as you can watch everything with the open kitchen and the wood burning pizza oven. We get Giardino about every other week as takeout, I find that this allows us the good food without the service issues. Pricing is cheaper than Dolce Vita, as it should be, a pizza runs about 10 bucks. Giardino is located about a 1 minute drive North from the Café de Paris, on the North Eastern corner of the next possible Left hand turn.

I think this place has the best carpacchio and Foccacio of anywhere I've ever eaten. Those two items alone are worth going here. The rest of the menu is good, but those two items are amazing.

So so true about the Carpachio. After our 1 st year in Nosara, I remember thinking about the carpachio all year long. It is so so choice and the seafood pizza is just as memorable.
We love the atmosphere and the owners are great too. Great place for large groups or just a few. One of my Nosara favs!!!

I'm not a big fan of their pasta dishes, but it's because they're so rich- most people like their pasta dishes.
