Dolce Vita may be my favorite of all… The food is Italian, and all of the cheese is imported directly from Italy. All of the pasta and sauces are handmade. The service is the only thing that you could nitpick about, but that is only because it is so popular that some nights it is packed. Roberto and the servers are great. If guests are in town Dolce Vita is a must go for us. We usually open up the trip with the view at Lagarta, and end the week with Roberto at Dolce. I have also mentioned that there are a lot of restaurants that are hit and miss here, well, so far for us, Dolce has always delivered… I recommend it frequently and always get great feedback. Pricing is high for Nosara (we just had guests talk about how the meal in the states would have been double), but you get what you pay for here. Dolce is located on the way out of town headed back towards Nicoya about 2 minutes past Dos Lorenas on the right, it will take about 5 minutes from the Café de Paris.

It doesn't matter how long it's been between visits, Roberto always treats us like we're regulars who were just there last week.
Listen to Roberto...if he recommends a particular sauce for your fish or meat, it's the one you want.
Definitely make a reservation on weekends or during the high season.
