Panchos

E-mail Print PDF

Panchos offers great Mexican food and a cool family atmosphere, they also have a mini-super with Tona!  Always a plus… I dig going to Panchos to hang out and have a few Tonas with friends.  You can go by yourself and be entertained sitting at the bar hanging with Curt, Shawn and Patrick.  I recently talked some trash about Kurt on this page (he is a friend), and gave him a hard time about our last trip over there...  Well, I guess it kicked him into high gear, because Kurt stepped it up about 10 notches last night... I never had an empty beer, and I couldn't finish the burrito... Also, it appears that Kurt has a super hot girlfriend now, and has quit surfing to perfect other skillz... good job broddah.  Just remember Surfing Nosara for helping you figure it all out!

The owner Steve Dunham also shapes great boards for Guiones, and they would make a great souvenier of your trip.  The food at Panchos is good, I love the enchiladas, but they could be a bit bigger, I am usually left wanting a bit more, so now I get the chips and guac to start out with, and that is hands down best in town.  Panchos is great for hanging after a session, you feel like you are in Costa there.  Pricing is good with enchiladas about 6 bucks, and 2 bucks for a good beer.  Panchos is located in Pelada on the way to the beach on your left.

Here is a picture of Kurt, fo hawk and all... LLCK, the ladies are lovin Chillin Kurt...

Panchos!!!

Well, we're from 15 minutes north of the Mexico border so we are picky when it comes to Mexican food. Although theirs is not super spicy- other than that- it's great for us when we're craving Mexican food. I love the shrimp or chicken tacos (ask what is best that night and they'll tell you) and my husband likes their cheese enchiladas or fish tacos. Great homemade corn tortilla chips, salsa and guacamole. Service is slow, you have to ask for what you want, but we don't mind!!

Great Food

We ate at Panchos several times on our last trip. The food was great. Not a bad dish on the menu. The vibes was laid back and friendly with surf vids always playing at the bar. They have a great place that I will be eating at again and again
