Surfing Nosara

Casa Tucan… if you have already been to Nosara, you have been to the Tucan…  Food is good, but nothing special, but there is always something going on.  The Tucan is Nosara’s version of a local bar as it sits right in front of the main break at Guiones and has a decent sized hotel with keeps things full of folks.  The bar and music night are the big attractions, they also have good Sunday NFL specials during football season.  You will probably make your way by the Tucan without trying to, and you will like it, but probably won’t brag about… They do have pizza, it is also OK.  Pricing is OK.  To get there head straight inland from the main lot on Guiones for 1 minute, it is on the right.

Probably the liveliest place to have dinner - and after dinner drinks - in Nosara. Prices are decent and portions good - my son's favorite after a 3 session day. If it's crowded, service and menu choices can be erratic at times.
Still, a fun place to hang and talk story about goings on in Nosara.

food o.k., location great, beer is cold, prices are good. definatley eratic menu. been there twice and they did't have gas so we had to eat chips and salsa

The lives music sets this place off.. the food is cheap and rrreeeaaalllyyy good. they also show surf movies in between soccer games which is a huge plus
