Lagarta Lodge, definitely top 3 in Nosara, maybe the best view! When we have guests in town we usually impress them on night one with the view and service at Lagarta. The fish is the ticket, and make sure you order the croquets, which are just fried mash potatoes. Sarah loves the white wine sauce on the freshest fish of the day…. The lobster and jumbo shrimps (everyone says shrimps here) are great if they have them, and the fresh ceviche and carppachio are amazing. If you are down with the wife or not on a tight budget, check it out… this is not a spot for your guys surf trip if you are under 22. Pricing is up there with Dolce Vita, but also worth it… I think they are the two restaurants in town that legitimately deliver at this price point. To get there buy a GPS, just kidding, get directions from someone who knows… once you get pointed in the right direction you can follow the signs.
