Surfing Nosara

Wow... This is the longest run of the Guanacaste's that I have seen in my 3 years here, and it looks like we have another few days of it according to the weather... it must have been a wicked cold front back on the Eastern sea board...  Surf this morning is in the knee to waist high range, but the wind is making it pretty unrideable...  bummer.

I do have good news though, as we have a swell looking to fill in around Monday...  Should be in the slightly overhead range, and we should still have some winds, so it could be really good!  If you need anything shoot us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. As far as the wind making the surf "unrideable" I would disagree. The last two days while it has been extra windy, we have seen some great rides. Yes they are all on the nose, Yes they are all very slow, But a couple of good coverups, and some pig-dogging later we got into two great sessions yesterday, and I walking out the door in anticipation of another great one today. Grab your longboard or your fattest stick.

I have a heavy glasses board for days like today. I cought almost every wave i went for and it was incredible.
