Our family has been coming to Nosara for the last 10 years. We started out at the Villa Taeype (now the Harmony Hotel) and there was very little in the way of conveniences. But the waves were good and everyone was friendly. We fell in love with the area and kept coming back every year.

We have seen the area change tremendously –all for the better (no more nightly power outages at sunset - when everyone came in from surfing and overloaded the system.) Every year we talked about buying a place and watched as everything grew in value and price. I checked the waves everyday on the Surfing Nosara web site while at home in Florida and decided to contacted Erik to look at some places on our last trip.

Erik was great he showed us all the different locations we wanted to check out and gave us an insider’s view of all the different properties. He was very honest and discussed all the good and bad points of the places we wanted to look at. This was very helpful since there were a lot of things we didn’t know as “out of towners”.

Needless to say we bought our piece of paradise and so did my neighbor and his family, who were down there at the same time as our family. The process was easy as Erik and his people streamlined everything for us. We even closed on the property without having to return to Costa Rica for the closing. Erik’s Costa Rican Lawyers were able to handle everything.
