Today is a good day, hooo ahhh, da da da da da da... To quote Ice Cube.

Well, I am tired, so I am not going to go into too much detail, but here is a rundown of possibly our most productive week in Costa Rica.

1. I love La Leche, but we finally bit the bullet and bought a nice car... The Tank. She is a 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser in great shape. Enough room for everything you could think of... I actually had five people and five surfboards inside the car comfortably a few days ago. We had her completely checked out in San Jose today and she got a bill of health worthy of Kemper.. perfect. And The Tank will help keep Kemper that way, it is about the biggest, heaviest car on the road.

2. We caught good surf in Hermosa, and caught Escondida perfect! Well, perfect without the crowd, but I caught a ton of waves. It was breaking about three feet overhead with some bigger sets, and the right was working great. I caught the bomb of the day, sitting way on the swing side. Sarah just hit my arm and is asking me to tell yall that she had a great time sitting by the pool with the baby monitor. We got to chill with some good friends from the states, shitbrick and the weasel.

3. I just watched the Gators win in the sweet sixteen... back to back football and basketball... just wait...

4. We got Kemper's passport today!!!!!!!!! Folks beware, we are making a surprise apperance in the next few months...

5. We are headed back home tomorrow...

I feel like I am on a surf trip this past week... better and better everyday. World class waves right out our back yard!!!

What Up???? Man it feel so good to have some real waves! I almost felt a bit scared on one or two... not really, but close... Sets at G-land were running doble over head today... Damn it feels to lay into a big ol right-hander...

Baby is doing well, getting better at everything from looking at stuff, picking up stuff, trying to talk to yelling and crying, louder by the day...

I hope you are all doing well back home! We may be making a return trip in the next few months... try to spend a few days in the keys relaxing:)

Kemper's first play date, March 7th, 2007. Hosted by our neighbor, Pilar, whose seven year old daughter Inez is pictured between Tiffany and I. I am holding Tiffany's 4 1/2 month old daughter, Lilly.

All is great here in Nosara- Kemper is growing so fast- she now weighs more than 13lbs! Each day is full of new experiences... recently, Kemper has discovered her hands. Not only does she bat at her toys (and our faces), but now uses her fingers to grasp (and to chew on!) We can pull her from laying to standing by her hands, and she loves to splash in the ocean (she cries when we leave!) Her world is expanding each day- she can now follow daddy with her eyes from the patio all the way to the end of the driveway when he leaves. She enjoys being read and sung to, and loves to talk back with "a-goo" and many other interesting vowel combinations. She has a contagious, full-face smile that shares with us frequently, as well as with her toys and her reflection in the mirror. Motherhood is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Yo peeps, que pasa? Things here are good. We have had good surf for the last week and it looks like this week could be better... We have also had good daughter this week, with The Lily Kemper making it though the last three nights from 8PM to 5AM... which is funny becuase Sarah and I have been up all night.

I am posting some new stuff for you guys today... I am told that Cindy Dawn reads pretty frequently and has been getting annoyed with me also.. so this one is for you.

Well, maybe not on the video that I was trying to upload... Just wasted over an hour on it... sorry.

I wonder how much money the blog has cost in wasted productivity time? Oh well, I enjoy it.
