What up folks! I have heard your nasty emails about the lack of entries in the blog, and the surf report folks aren't too happy either, but what's a brother to do??? I have this new daughter that I try to spend all of my free time with, and I am spending an extra 15 hours a week launching the Nosara MLS, actually NSL, and the rest of the time I am trying to surf. Surfing comes before the surf report, and playing with Kemper comes before writing about playing with her, so you guys are screwed... but tonight I am in San Jo, loving it no doubt, and have internet, and no longer like TV. So... blog.
We took the Lily Kemper to the doc today, and we are proud to say that we grow'em big in Team Antonson. Ella tiene casi ocho semanas y esta cinco y medio kilos ahora. That is 12.2 pounds at only 8 weeks. She got her first round of shots... don't worry about us getting some Central American mix, we are paying top dollar to make sure that she is getting the states treatment, at only 15% of the cost. Our cost for the first round of shots and the visit was $160. The shots were 120 and the visit the other 40. Kemper is 60cm. If anyone out there is thinking about having a nina/o in Costa feel free to email me as we have learned a bunch that could save you some time and effort...
So lets see, what has happened lately of interest? I don't think that I have told the Bob Marley story. From day one, Lil K has pretty much liked what I like and hated what I hate. She absolutley loves the ocean and water. She has yet to cry in the ocean or a bath. She is a morning person, giving her biggest and bestest smiles during daddy time from 5:30 to 7 before I go surf. And she gets real upset when she doesn't get fed when she is hungry, Andrew to this day says that my most annoying feature is that I have to eat all the time, and if I don't I get pissy... Apple don't fall far. I have been noticing all of the similarites for the last 2 months and about 3 weeks ago I had a thought. Whenever I get in a super bad mood I can throw on some Bob and it just mellows me out... well, I tried this with Old Milk (Lil K) and she stopped crying right away. She loves to just listen to Bob and bouce. You take away either and she starts her fit right back.
Also, another note of interest... everyone tells you that babies smell soooooo good. They definitely have a distint smell, but I think that it is just all the milk that they have spit up and is rotting on their shirts. Leche Vieja... Old Milk...
So as far as the surfing has been going we had super killer day this past week. It was overhead and offshore! I had three dry barrels. So fun! I miss the surf that we had until the last 2 months. The lack of surf has driven me back to the gym, as I have lost about 10 pounds of muscle since moving to Nosara... It feels good to be back!
On the business front I am stoked right now too! I love starting systems, and improving things. And on that front the Nosara Shared Listings is off to a great start. The system is done and our board was finalized in the last week. I am proud to say that we are launching with Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Wanderlust Realty as the three brokerages and our developer board member Peter Gilman. It is going to be a good system that will help everyone and save time... so that means more water time!
I am real close to being able to annouce a new project that I have really focused on, but need about 1 more month. When I can talk about this one you will have a little better understanding on where my time has been going. And I think that you all will be STOKED!!!
So for the Lily Kemper, Sarah and I, thanks for staying tuned to the blog! Talk to you soon... E.
